After learning of Ciro’s return, Genny summons the leaders of the squares he has conquered for a meeting. We must prepare the counter-offensive and we must do it quickly, before Ciro gets organized. Genny’s idea is to double vigilance in the squares and show the utmost severity. But Genny’s plan is even more Machiavellian: he asks Fernando to betray him in order to set a trap for his enemies. Meanwhile, Ciro and Enzo converse on the waterfront and the Immortal manifests to his friend his only will: that this story ends as he says.
