If the worst happens, her young joey could be left orphaned. It’s an anxious wait as vet Alex delivers his verdict. Meanwhile, over in Lion Country, Megan and Hamza join forces for a special enrichment challenge as they find out if the big cats will hunt up trees! At the giraffe house, Kate and Tom use a specialist 360-degree camera to get a unique view of the herd, but will the images reveal clues to what the problem with one of them might be? In the east Africa reserve, keepers are keeping a close watch on the social dynamics of the herd of roan antelope. With breeding hopes high, it’s important to weigh the females, but getting a skittish antelope onto the scales is easier said than done. Meanwhile, the ostriches have laid a bumper batch of eggs, but are any of them viable?

Elsewhere, Ben joins the keepers as they tempt the park’s tiny, elusive Australian marsupial with a mushroom truffle feast, and there’s a race against time to help a lonely lorikeet find love before he’s rejected by his flock for good. The park’s lions create a drama of their own as they get their paws on some ostrich egg enrichment, causing sparks to fly within in the pride’s hierarchy. Meanwhile, Hamza’s on the lookout for baby bumps among the sea lions. Could the park soon be welcoming new arrivals?

Elsewhere, Ben witnesses a rare moment as the Cuban crocodiles show a terrifying pack-hunting display, while on the other side of the park, the keepers hope for peace between the park’s battling hyenas after a savage attack. In Lion Country, Caleb uncovers the astonishingly clever tactics of an ageing lioness determined to outwit her pride and stay strong, and there’s heartstopping jeopardy as Megan helps reintroduce giant tortoises to the sunshine. Meanwhile, Hamza’s bird survey uncovers spectacular scenes in the skies above Half Mile Pond.
