Fiona Bruce shares some of the best unseen items from recent roadshows, from a possible Banksy to an African spear linked to the explorer Livingstone. Other eclectic finds include a Dior necklace, a collection of 1960s airline cabin bags and a remarkable skeleton clock, and there are two items related to the Suffragettes – a riding crop used by the jockey at the Derby where he accidentally killed a young activist who threw herself at his horse, and a hunger strike medal honouring the incredible bravery of these extraordinary women.

Fiona Bruce presents a special episode of Antiques Roadshow commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain and the Blitz. Combining stories from all over the country with a special event filmed at Biggin Hill airfield, the programme tells the story of a defining moment in Britain’s war through the people and objects who were there. Fiona begins the programme onboard an iconic Supermarine Spitfire, flying over the Weald of Kent. Then, she and the team uncover the stories behind family mementos, including a scramble bell that got pilots into the air, ops room models that tracked their every move, and a steering column from a British fighter shot down in combat. We also hear first-hand from the pilot of that downed plane, pilot officer John Hemingway - one of the last remaining pilots with combat experience from the Battle of Britain.

Season 40, Episode 12 – “Coronation Special″
As the 65th anniversary of the coronation approaches, Fiona Bruce and members of the Antiques Roadshow team head to Edinburgh to the Royal Yacht Britannia for a special royal edition of the programme. The programme looks back at the reign of HM the Queen through objects brought in by those who worked for her and played a part on formal occasions. From engine room staff and cooks, to a maid of honour at the coronation and the secretary general of the Commonwealth, each person shares their memories of HM the Queen at work and at leisure.Britannia was one of the Queen's favourite residences and she is on record as saying 'This is where I can truly relax'. Antiques Roadshow experts aboard are Geoffrey Munn, Hilary Kay, Adam Schoon and Henry Sandon.Items include early and rarely seen photos and footage of the Queen, hand drawn Christmas cards to a childhood friend signed 'Lilibet', and interior designs for the Royal Yacht painted by Sir Hugh Casson.
