Beyond explanation, beyond understanding… lies the truth. Watch the first nine minutes of ABC’s new drama series ‘Emergence,’ starting TUESDAY, SEPT 24 10|9c. The series begins as police Chief Jo Evans (Allison Tolman) takes in a young child named Piper (Alexa Swinton), who she finds near the site of a mysterious accident and has no memory of what has happened. The investigation draws her into a conspiracy larger than she ever imagined, and the child’s identity is at the center of it all. ‘Emergence’ also stars Owain Yeoman as Benny Gallagher, Ashley Aufderheide as Mia Evans, Robert Bailey Jr. as Officer Chris Minetto, Zabryna Guevara as Abby Frasier, Donald Faison as Alex Evans and Clancy Brown as Ed.
Season 01, Episode 01 – “Pilot”
In the series premiere, police chief Jo Evans plunges her family into a mystery when she discovers a young girl the night of an inexplicable plane crash in her quiet northeastern town and decides to protect her. Benny Gallagher, an investigative reporter, intrudes into Jo’s inquiry with his own take on the shadowy evidence.
